The year was 2XXX, Human life seems not to have changed over the past few centuries, however things are not always as it seems. From the depths of the darkness come creatures not too dissimilar to ourselves, the remains of those long gone are now being reborn, wrapped in shadows they move from city to city, leaving behind a series of horrific murders, these creatures called themselves the Shiine. Each creature of the Shiine possesses abilities allowing them to easily outmatch the humans, but things are about to change, a secret government branch has been experimenting on the creation of a new breed of humans, these new beings are able to not only see the invisible Shiine but possess abilities capable of fighting against them. These man-made Shiine are known as "Normal" and their role is to track down and destroy the Shiine, but will the Normals continue to fight on the side of the humans? Or will they find companions among the Shiine? Since the creation of Normals began many Normals have already joined the Shiine's ranks, will the newer generations of Normals be able to fight back and thus protect the humans?
Extra: Gifteds = Normals Shiine = Sort of see themselves as royalty and higher beings, thus look down on the humans and Normals as inferior. Normals which join them serve the Shiine as servants. Whilst most Normals serve the Shiine due to losing a battle with the Shiine and thus being captured and controlled, some serve the Shiine by free will as they agree with their idea of wiping the humans from the earth and taking it for themselves, these Normals have been told that they will receive high status in the new world, but that is not likely as the Shiine don't trust anyone who isn't their own, much less a filthy Normal.
Urk = The Urk clan weren't mentioned in the description, this clan is a group of the creatures who do not agree with the ideas of the Shiine, too proud to ally with the humans and thus are not known to the human scientists (though some Normals have encountered them) they move around quietly and follow the Shiine picking them off one by one.
Sharnay = Also not mentioned above, these are a group of mainly pacifist Normals who do not wish to get involved in the conflicts between clans and the government. They contain many powerful Normals and so the government doesn't dare to interfere with them.

ooc: ok I'm using: Vix and Klanbic: The bells rang from the old church followed by the cold chill which announced the oncoming of yet another frosty night. As the moon slowly begins to rise the air is filled with the sounds of mutters and crys as the creatures of the darkness begin to rise from their daytime slumber in the quest of seeking out more victims in the hope to bring themselves closer to their own selfish goals. As the street lights flicker on the sounds of fights begin to break out across the city and yet another night of bloodshed ensued. "Hey Klan-Klan, why are we at this church again?" Vix asked holding Klan's hand as they walked through the cemetery. Klan didn't say anything until they arrived at the doors to the old abandoned church. "You said you wanted to go somewhere quiet as the fighting was annoying you." Klan stated as he sat down against the doors and she sat on his lap. "Ah, that's why...Oh look, the stars are visible." Vix said as she rested her head on his chest. Yes, this was a typical date like atmosphere, but they weren't typical people.

A strikingly blonde boy sat atop the church, making as sure as he could that the shingles wouldn't break off. One knee was up against his chest, the other dangling off the side as he looked down at the couple, annoyance taking over his otherwise calm features. Romance was one of the things in the world that made him recoil; he didn't like the thought of it, didn't like the mere SUGGESTION of it. That was the way he was raised; no affection, no feelings, nothing. Though he had some of his own emotions, none of them were put to use with love. Above the couple, he gave a great heaving sigh, poking absently at a bandaged wound on his forearm from a fight the night before. "Stars are always visible," he quipped, interrupting them quite effectively. "It just depends on where you are, and what you're looking with."

A tall young man with short black hair leaned on the church's spire. He flipped a wooden coin in his hand, His skin was pale, like the moon, and his eyes were black like coal. He wore a long black duster and black leather pants, he wore an unbuttoned dark-grey silk shirt under his duster. He hummed a song in a low eery tone. Flipping the coin in his hand, it was painted gold, I looked like gold, but it felt like wood.

A Somewhat short, but long legged girl stood on the roof far away from the blonde haired boy. She had her long light blonde hair pulled back into two pigtails. Her eyes were an odd bright amber color, and her skin was very pale. She wore a short plaid dress, with white tights, and brown combat boots. There was a fancy camera hanging from her neck. She looked up at the starry sky. "If only I could get pictures of that." She sighed. She then turned her attention down towards the couple and pointed her camera at them. "How cute." She murmured, sinking her front teeth into her bottom lip as she snapped a photo of them.

Vix jumped up and scowled at the one who had interrupted them, surprisingly her eyesight was pretty sharp, but that had come from many years of living in secret. "The stars may always be visible, but not usually to this degree." she said sticking her tongue out at the guy. With a sigh Klan pulled himself to his feet and looked up at the person on the roof, as the moon appeared from behind a tree the rays illuminated his skin perfectly showing once again that he was no mere human. With Vixen's childlike bodily appearance it was probably easier to think that she was Klan's little sister more than his girlfriend yet they looked nothing alike. His eyes flashed but he said nothing only lowing his hand to rest it on Vix's shoulder more to hold her back than anything as an almost eerie mist had begun to form.

Ralph gave a little sigh, resting his cheek against his upright knee, looking down at them with deep purple eyes. It was clear that he intended no physical, or mental, harm, he just hadn't really understood the romantic atmosphere around them, and the fact that he wasn't meant to interrupt it. "Well, okay." He said, and the tone of his voice stated that he had been defeated in the 'argument'. Letting a bit of his own child show through, he stuck his tongue back out at the girl, before looking at the male. "Don't get your panties in a knot, I was just stating a fact."

Lila heard the couple address a boy to her left. She looked over at the boy sitting on the roof as if seeing him for the first time, and snapped a picture of him. She was a photographer, she loved taking pictures of other people, even if the other people hated it. "Could you all maybe not, uhm...argue?" She asked, hiding in the shadows.

Zachariah swung around on the spire to the other side of the roof. he stood close behind the boy in front of him. "I agree with the little shutter bug. Don't argue on my roof." he stood up straight and stared down at the people below. "You two, get out of my yard, I don't know how you got here but you are not welcome." His dark eyes narrowed and he turned his gaze to the moon ahead. He could hear everything in this part of the world, his own little church yard. His family once owned that place. Though it was no more than a little chaple and a graveyard now. He looked at the hazy grounds, the moon illuminating the ruins of the/ old buildings that used to surround the churchyard.
"Ashes, all ashes..." he muttered to himself.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Vix hissed at Zach, she then looked up at Klan and sighed. "It would seem we are not welcome here. But I don't think anyone has the right to kick someone out of a church except the priest, and he doesn't look like one to me."

Ralph scoffed, quite loudly, and stood up. If he was a bird, he'd be ruffling his feathers right about then. He wasn't one for defending, unless it was for those of whom his allegiance was pledged to, but that was just plain annoying. "Your roof?" He asked, raising his eyebrows at the opposing man. "Oh, I'm sorry all the dead bodies in the ground are your's, each blade of grass are your's, and every bloody shingle on this roof is your's." Standing at his full height, his figure was more easily seen. He was handsome; average height and lithe, his hair cut to a modern-enough style, and bandages covering what bits of his skin was showing. He looked like he had been in a rather rough fight the previous night. "Get over yourself, dark head."

"I am the priest here, thank-you very-much." Zach sneered, standing up straight. He didn't want to leave the roof, not with the boy still there. Zachariah stared at all them, with half closed eyes.
"I don't believe that we've ever met before." He said to the boy on the roof. He leaned forward and smiled darkly. "And in-fact, this is my roof, every singe shingle, blade of grass, and headstone, in this churchyard belongs to me. You are a trespasser, and I could push you off her if I wanted."
